OpenSea’s iOS & Android App will boost its NFT access & reach—beating competition
OpenSea App
OpenSea (volume-wise world’s largest NFT marketplace) has launched its Android and iOS mobile application.
Introducing the OpenSea Mobile App | OpenSea Product
The OpenSea application would let users see and surf its digital collectible assets in an organized manner. It won’t let any money exchange take place, reports TechCrunch. Yes, the OpenSea mobile app is a ‘browse only’ app. The probable reason being pricey app store transactions.

Given that OpenSea is innately an Ethereum-dependent crypto-first platform. Developing an USD supportive feature around it was not easy, opines OpenSea. It rather allocated much of its attention towards giving its users better NFT information access. OpenSea’s mobile app gives details on NFT minting, its minter, and trading details.
The application allows users to:
- Connect their account
- Surf, search, filter, and like NFTs,
- See item and collection statistics
You can also share the NFT that you just saw in the app, outside the app. To do so, you can click on a button that appears upon viewing an NFT.
Per dappradar.com, OpenSea’s global trade volume makes it the largest NFT marketplace globally. In the last 30 days, the very first and by far the largest peer-to-peer crypto collectibles marketplace’s dApp smart contract saw the following:
- 2.41 million (+58.08%) transactions.
- 12.216261 ETH ($45.14k) in the total value of assets
- 1.1 million ETH ($3.39 billion, +143.39%) in terms of volume
- 261.13k number of unique wallet address interactions
