$MainStreet Tony and Miss $MAINST dropped by to talk to CryptoGirlfriend about their new project Main Street, as well as to discuss their plans for the future. To celebrate the Main Street AMA, five members from the community who take part in the question-and-answer segment at the end will be selected to win a share of prizes worth $500!
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Welcome everyone! I am going to be the AMA host today. A few housekeeping items before we get started. I will mute the chat during the AMA with $MAINST. After my round of questions then I will open up the chat for everyone to submit their questions. We have a $500 prize pool today, so that will be $100 to the top 5 questions that are selected!
Welcome @MainStreetTony & @MissMainStreet. Thank you for being here with us today to discuss your project on BSC.
Miss $MAINST: Hey guys, happy to be here!
$MainStreet Tony: Nice to see you @CryptoGrlfriend
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Can we start out with you giving us a brief rundown of the $MAINST project?
Miss $MAINST: Absolutely
The cornerstone of the Main Street project is to operate as a marketing and promotional launchpad for high use case tokens to be featured by the Main Street team. Basically, we want to show our holders solid options for investing while rewarding those tokens for their hard work by pushing them out with our marketing plans. We have already begun forming partnerships with a few high use case tokens prior to our presale. We are excited to share them with our community!
CryptoGirlfriend☆: So $MAINST benefits holders and serious token developers who offer real utility. How do you plan on building partnerships with high use case tokens in the future?
$MainStreet Tony: We knew from the start that pulling partnerships with no marketing analytics etc was going to be hard. Luckily we’ve already forged partnerships with SafeGorilla and PandaDex to help showcase our use case to other tokens. Besides that, as many of you probably already know, marketing is all about the money. Which is where our marketing wallet comes to play. We plan to use those funds to offer unique opportunities and traffic to our partners.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Yes, marketing is ongoing and very important for the long-term sustainability of any project.
Miss $MAINST: Our approach in the beginning has been to hunt down tokens and create relationships with their development teams, discussing their projects and plans for the future. After launch, we plan to push out an open $MAINST Tenant Application. This will make it easy for tokens interested in marketing their projects to submit their token and be reviewed by our team for approval.
We want only to form partnerships with the highest caliber projects who our holders can trust.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: That’s a cute theme you have there. Tenants on your Main St. 😁
Miss $MAINST: We have a whole thing, lol.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: So what is “The Alley”? Can you explain how it will work?
Miss $MAINST: Well… who doesn’t like a little fun? Lol. The Alley is kind of the Wild West of Main Street. We will have a rotating list of new and unvetted tokens for our holders to review and buy. There are no guarantees on safety in The Alley, it’s high risk… maybe high reward? Definitely do your own research. Lol. We actually have a relationship with the PandaDex charting tool token who will help us push out the data after launch. We are excited to be working with them. They are solid folks.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: More like, Back Alley.
Miss $MAINST: You got it! Lol
Miss $MAINST: So in The Neighborhood, you have your featured and high use case, and in contrast, you have The Alley, new and unvetted.
$MainStreet Tony: Community is a big thing for us. It’s actually how our 3 developers met. The consensus we’ve seen around the crypto world is that community matters. On top of trying to offer ours the best ROI value wise that they can get. We plan to offer them educational and other engagement oriented things throughout our platform.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: A strong community is the backbone of a project’s success.
$MainStreet Tony: 100%
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Let’s talk about your $MAINST token. Can you review your tokenomics and when is the token launching?
$MainStreet Tony: The generic rundown is as follows
10% Total tax on all Buys/Sells
- -5% Sent to the burn wallet
- -2.5% Redistribution to current holders.
- -2.5% Marketing Wallet allocation to help market our partners and provide kickbacks to our community.
Paid promotions will be paid to MainStreet in BNB, then bought into MainStreet marketing wallet. Subjecting it to the 10% total tax.
We’re currently about 48hrs from launching presale but we do not expect that to last long
Miss $MAINST: Yep. Crunch mode, we are very excited.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: So how do the kickbacks to the community from the Marketing Wallet work and how else do you plan to use those marketing funds to promote your project long term?
Miss $MAINST: The Marketing Wallet is a key component to the function of our token. We will use the marketing budget to push out news about our partners, create relationships with high-level influencers to add value to our Marketing Packages and to fund giveaways to our community. These include airdrops, lotteries, and competitions rewarding participants $MAINST
CryptoGirlfriend☆: So everyone should keep their eyes open for more chances to win!
$MainStreet Tony: On top of that. The direct kickback to holders comes from the redistribution and burning properties our paid promotions are submitted to when they enter the marketing wallet.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Definitely multiple ways to earn it seems.
$MainStreet Tony: We’re givers what can we say lol
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Nothing wrong with that! So how will $MAINST show the value of community engagement to its holders?
Miss $MAINST: Something we have seen in other token communities is the lack of engagement during slow periods. The community is the backbone of the token, as you said. Without them you lose value that’s more than monetary… people look for dev engagement and creative approaches to involving the holders in the project. We have many week’s long plan already written to keep our holders active and feeling like they are part of the Main Street family, even when the market is red. We are actually very excited about kicking this part of it off and can’t wait to share the rewards of our success with you guys.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: I can’t wait to see what you guys have up your sleeve! Do you have a roadmap published yet?
Miss $MAINST: Yes ma’am. It’s on our website, buymainstreet.com
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Awesome. I encourage everyone to go check out the website. With rug pulls and scams so common in crypto, what will $MAINST do to operate with transparency?
Miss $MAINST: I feel like this is the bread and butter question.
It’s something on everyone’s mind all the time in crypto. Part of our White Paper is an entire section solely on transparency and our plan of attack to make sure holders feel informed about all the moves $MAINST makes. The marketing wallet is a good place to start. We’ve seen other token devs take money from marketing and never mention what it’s for or where it’s going, until a holder takes a peek and says, “Hey buddy, what’s this 20k for?” We are not willing to be caught up in any of that.
Main Street will release weekly blog posts dedicated solely to the explanation and review of every dime spent from Marketing, as that’s where a portion of the tax goes. We want you all to see where the money is going, why, and get an explanation for how it benefits Main Street. This will be a significant form of checks and balances for our holders who want to compare the Marketing Wallet contract to our weekly updates. The proof is in the pudding.
And the White Paper is also live on our website, so you can view the rest of our transparency plan there.
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Great. I will be sure to check out the white paper when we are done today.
Okay, one last question before we get into the questions from the audience.
Where do you see $MAINST in one year?
Miss $MAINST: We have a lot of big ideas for Main Street that we sort of had to reel in and refine from the start so we could sprinkle them out responsibly along the way, lol.
One of the initial ideas is implementing entertainment experiences in our Main Street Shops. In a year we would like to fill our “town” with things like gaming, gambling, etc. In a year we see Main Street becoming a one stop shop for investing and entertainment. We want everyone to have a good time, hence the tag line “Buy. Stay. Play.”
$MainStreet Tony: Long story short on Katie’s response. One of the most high utility use case platforms for holders and partners alike.
Miss $MAINST: Utility is key
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Sounds like Vegas and I love to go there! I would love a crypto version of Vegas. 😁
Miss $MAINST: You’re speaking our language! Lol
$MainStreet Tony: It’s called Binance futures if you’re looking for the casino part lol
CryptoGirlfriend☆: Okay, I am now going to open up the chat for a few minutes so everyone can ask their questions. After a few minutes I will mute the chat again and you can select the top 5 questions. Each question chosen will win $100. So make those questions good!
Miss $MAINST: Alright, give us your best guys!
Community Questions
Community Question #1
Crypto Luckyboy: Where does the project name come from? Why did you choose that name for you project?
$MainStreet Tony: We were looking for a name that encompassed everything we were trying to do, a central hub of investors, tokens, and information. MainStreet easily slid right into this. Much like WallStreet is to stocks, MainStreet plans to be to cryptos. Enjoy your $100 bucks bud lol
Community Question #2
Elisha Reilly: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to MAINST ? Because it is the success of a project to get more investors who are still not in the crypto world specially as a new project entering to crypto. What are the plans to increase awareness about MAINST around in non-crypto space? And which region is in your mind?
Miss $MAINST: Hey Elisha. Great question.
Something we have been discussing from the start is how to get people involved who may not be familiar with crypto.
One of our plans of attack here is with our Shops. An example we are currently working on is partnering with large names in sports/entertainment. By sponsoring say, a UFC athlete, we can support their goals while in turn receiving promotions for Main Street to a large, new audience.
I use UFC as an example because it’s a robust, fun community ripe for the picking. Sponsoring an athlete or partnering with a well-known person in media and entertainment will get us eyeballs outside of the general telegram/Twitter population using the #crypto search tag.
We think this is also a fun way to incorporate our holders interests into our project. If we have a lot of people mentioning they would like to see X partnership, we can start moving in on those niches.
Good question, thank you.
Community Question #3
Lexi Watsica: Will MAINST holders large / small get a share of the trading fee? And is that the goal MAINST wants to achieve and is it a marketing strategy to hook up new investors / partnerships?
$MainStreet Tony: Yup. The 2.5% Redistribution is given to all holders based on % of $MAINST owned. The way we use our paid promotional money we receive as a burn & redistribute tool is definitely a draw to acquire and retain new investors. Winner winner lol. Enjoy.
Community Question #4
Warrm Buffet: The last few months BSC has seen major growth and there’s a ton of clueless newbies in the space. There’s definitely a need for quality educational content. How does Main St intend to educate the community? Will the material cover crypto at large or specifically the BSC?
Are there plans for any tools like a Contract Checker that looks in a contract’s code for matches to known scam contracts or even specific, nefarious lines of code?
Miss $MAINST: Hey Warm, great question.
We see these things come up in chat _all_ the time. “How do we buy?” “How do I create a wallet?” “Where do I see my tokens?” Etc.
Part of our roadmap is the release of our Main Street Library.
The library will have videos created by the Main Street team that help its users navigate these issues and walk them through entering the crypto world from beginning to end.
This is another play the community can make, suggest ideas for videos that we can offer in our library and we will post them for our holders to use and share.
A lot of tokens claim they are community driven because it’s easy bait, we actually want to use your feedback and implement solutions to your problems.
Community Question #5
Ablen X: Currently most investors only care about profits at the moment but ignore the long-term benefits. So can you give them some advice why they should buy and hold this token/coin in the long term?
Miss $MAINST: Hey Ablen.
True. The reason to buy and hold $MAINST kind of fits in to what your key point is.
Investors want profits. In a volatile space it can be hard to find solid holdings without getting scammed or even just watching a token slowly die.
Main Street does the legwork of finding the solid use case investments and placing them at your fingertips. We are bringing the profit to you, so it’s valuable to hold our token for its own high utility, but also because you have the opportunity to utilize our project for additional gains through our partners.
