Landshare Interview
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:05:18 PM]: We have @LandshareAdmin @LS_Cassandra @LS_Travis joining us! Are we missing anyone from your team, guys?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:06:02 PM]: Nope, we’re good to go!
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:06:08 PM]: Beautiful!
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 4:06:23 PM]: Welcome Landshare!
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:06:48 PM]: Well thanks for joining us! We’re super excited to learn about Landshare. As a real estate investor myself, I’m intrigued to learn about these new possibilities! Why don’t you go ahead and introduce yourselves and what your roles are within the project?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:09:15 PM]: Hello, I want to thank everyone for being here, and to thank BSC Times for hosting this AMA. I am Jordan, lead developer and cofounder of Landshare. My educational background is in computer science. After college, I joined the miltiary as a digital network analyst and cyber security specialist, where I received an additional 1 year of training in cyber security, networking and programming. I started working on blockchain development with the solidity programming language and have been hard at work developing the tech side of the platform.
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 4:10:31 PM]: Welcome everyone! I am Travis, COO, director of marketing, and cofounder of Landshare. I have over 6 years of experience in crypto investment and development. Having followed the development of the Binance Smart Chain since its inception, I have seen many projects with tremendous growth, but even more projects that never made it off the ground. I am using this experience to ensure Landshare has a successful launch, with a focus on community outreach, contract security and sound tokenomics. As the community began to shift from Ethereum to BSC, I saw a huge opportunity for new projects in this ecosystem. I am excited to see what the future holds for both Landshare and the BSC ecosystem as a whole.
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:11:40 PM]: Cassandra is another team member, she is a marketing and social media assistant. We also have a web development and graphic design team, legal and real estate advisors, our CM Kurama, and several others who have helped out with the project .
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:12:38 PM]: Thanks for the intros! Sounds like you have your bases covered with a good team with strong backgrounds 💪
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:13:36 PM (May 3, 2021 at 4:13:48 PM)]: So what exactly is Landshare, for those of us who may not be familiar with it?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:17:26 PM]: Landshare is a fractional real estate investment platform on BSC, allowing anyone to earn yields from rental profits and property appreciation. Our core features include the Property Vault, a BUSD based vault fully collateralized by real estate assets which pays stakers rental profits in BUSD and additional payouts in Landshare tokens, and the Landshare token, the native token of the platform which features daily buybacks and grants access to our high yield vaults. Governance protocol and other features will be coming post launch.
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 4:18:27 PM]: Very interesting. Sounds to me like REIT’s?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:19:46 PM]: It is similar, but our platform is more streamlined and hassle free.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:20:22 PM]: I love it. What type of properties are acquired and used for collateral, exactly?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 4:21:19 PM]: The Landshare team, with the guidance of our advisors, will select the most cost effective properties with the highest returns. Our priority is acquiring reliable properties that will give the highest rental returns relative to property value.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:22:00 PM]: Strictly residential? Or commercial/land as well?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:22:52 PM]: For now we are focused on residential properties, however expansion into new markets is something we will always look into if it makes sense for our platform and investors.
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 4:23:57 PM]: As you guys know, probably better than I do, real estate has done remarkably well lately in alot of parts of the world. However we have seen cycles where real estate had a big correction, are there any plans or mechanisms to deal with depreciation?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:27:00 PM]: Our vault’s capacity is tethered to the value of our assets. By staking in our vault, investors incur potential risks with regards to asset depreciation. That being said, investors are not liable for maintenance or property damage.
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 4:29:03 PM]: Awesome, that’s what I wanted to hear, so you’re giving investors the ability to profit off of real estate, by using your vaults, and eliminating the typical downsides of real estate investing, such as maintenance and property damage etc. Really cool, Landshare, I have not seen a project like yours yet.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:30:52 PM]: So next question! Do Landshare investors have legal ownership of the properties?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 4:32:31 PM]: Staking in our Property Vault does not constitute legal ownership. We want to make sure our platform is hassle free and easy to use. The Landshare team manages all of the properties and handles maintenance, insurance, and taxes. Our investors will be entitled to rental profits as long as they’re staked in the Property Vault, but never have to worry about management or legal compliance.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:37:43 PM]: I like it. Traditionally investing in real estate requires plenty of paperwork and hoops to jump through. This sounds like a much simpler alternative! Two follow up questions:
1. What kind of documentation or proof of property acquisition will be provided?
2. Up to what percentage of equity in the properties will available for investors to buy into by staking? I assume that you’ll want to maintain a fair amount of equity/income to hedge against capital expenditures (new roof, plumbing issues, etc)?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 4:39:37 PM]: 1. Our properties will be held in an LLC. Documentation will be provided before launch on property holdings as well as for all future acquisitions. The team is working hard to ensure legal compliance in these regards, and more details will come come when finalized.
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:42:20 PM]: 2. The full value of the property is represented in our vault. Limited funds from the vault can be used by the team for the types of expenditures you mentioned, and those funds are recouped through our profit generating mechanisms such as the fees generated from our platform.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:42:33 PM]:

Good to hear! Sounds like good peace of mind, as all of that is public record that can be checked.

Brilliant! Let’s discuss the tokenomics a bit. What’s the token cap? And what’s the token allocation?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:46:43 PM]: 10,000,000 hard cap with initial circulating supply of 400,000. 10% presale 1, 10% presale 2, and both of those presales will have an unlock schedule you can see on our site. Public presale will be 1%, liquidity 2%, and rewards pool 57%. Team token supply is 20% , these tokens also follow an unlock schedule.

Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:47:55 PM]: Has there, or will there be, a contract audit completed?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:49:01 PM]: Yes, contract security is our number one priority. An audit will be released before launch and we will be doing everything we can to ensure the platform is secure.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:49:38 PM]: Perfect. Who is the audit being conducted by? And where will the token sale be held?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 4:51:40 PM]: We are still in discussions with various auditors, we want to ensure the audit is done by a reliable and highly respected auditor with a long track record.
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 4:52:52 PM]: The presale will be conducted via whitelist as we will be required to KYC any investors to remain compliant with the SEC and other regulations. We are in discussions with various launchpad platforms for a prelaunch event. We are also in discussion with various exchanges for possible listings, we will share more details when finalized.

That’s good to hear. Smart contract audits are very important, and should be taken very serious. We’ve seen some in the past that have had issues that weren’t found by auditors that weren’t very good.

Oh very cool, once you guys are ready to share those details, we’d love to hear
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 4:54:13 PM]: Two more questions from me! And then we’ll unmute and open it up to community questions for 5 minutes or so. Then mute again and allow you to answer community questions. Will there be any sort of token buybacks or something similar?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 4:57:02 PM]: The Landshare team will buyback tokens from the market each day, and these tokens will be distributed into a reward pool for Landshare Token stakers. The buyback amount is based on a percentage of our TVL. Stakers will also receive a percentage of fees generated from the platform. Additional discretionary buybacks will be conducted, and those tokens will be burned in order to keep supply under the cap.
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 4:58:01 PM]: Great, so the team will be cognizant of the token price, and will actively work, within your means to help by adding buying pressure
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 4:59:23 PM]:

Travis, earlier you mentioned this, and I wanted to circle back and say that you I think you really hit the nail on the head, regarding some of the most important things you’ll need to accomplish. Your tokenomics including the buybacks and the vesting period is really cool, I’ve seen quite a few projects explode in value because investors weren’t able to dump all of their tokens once liquidity was added. Smart contract audits are also extremely important, and show that your team is serious about investor funds, bravo. Community outreach is the 3rd one you mentioned, and I’d like to ask you what Landshare’s plans are as far as outreach goes?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:03:38 PM]: Community is an essential part of any project and the Landshare team recognizes this and will incorporate a governance protocol in the future. This will allow the community to have more influence in how the platform will operate. We are also reaching out to trusted members of the community to help create foreign language channels to accommodate as many people as possible.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 5:04:46 PM]: Beautiful. Last question from the BSCTimes team: What are your future goals and what’s the project roadmap?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:08:16 PM]: Our future plans and roadmap for Landshare will include a governance protocol, exclusive access to our house flipping vaults, expansion into other markets such as Airbnb, and charity initiatives. After the initial launch of our platform the Landshare team wants to implement a governance protocol to allow users to have more influence on the platform as discussed earlier. This will allow LAND holders to help decide what types of properties to purchase, as well as how to allocate LAND tokens that are acquired via buy-back. Tokens that are bought back will initially be returned to stakers as a reward, but as we launch our governance protocol the tokens that are bought back will enter a reserve. As the reserve grows from buybacks, LAND holders will be able to indicate how they would like to spend this reserve. For example, some potential options would be redistributing to stakers, burning of the tokens as a deflationary mechanism, used for future partnerships, or property acquisition. Our exclusive house flipping vaults are something the Landshare team is excited about implementing which will allow users to see a much larger ROI, further details can be seen on our medium here: https://landshare.medium.com/landshare-feature-highlight-crowdfunded-house-flipping-758352fecefb
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 5:09:58 PM]: House flipping vaults!! That’s killer.
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 5:10:09 PM]: Yeah woah, I am guessing these will have higher APR/APY’s. Very cool. Let’s now unmute the chat, and open it up to community questions! Are you guys ready?
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 5:12:38 PM]: Yes, we’re ready
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:33:58 PM]: Thank you for all the great questions! We will begin answering questions now.
Community Question #1
Angel ╩╦╩, [May 3, 2021 at 5:12:49 PM]:
Investors seem to only care about the price of the token instead of the real value of the project, how does your team attract newcomers and keep members long-term with the project?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:35:26 PM]: We can provide yields on stablecoins that will rival or exceed our competitors to entice new users on the platform. By holding our token users gain priority access to high yield vaults, as well as get to vote on future proposals via our governance protocol to provide incentive to hold the token long term.
Community Question #2
Andrew Trevathan, [May 3, 2021 at 5:13:01 PM]: How will it be determined how long an investor is holding a token? Is it tracked by wallet address? For example if I 5 months in decide to sell my tokens would whoever gets the token afterwards get the yield I would have gotten myself at 6 months? Or is yield only for those in a vault or staking?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:36:09 PM]: Yields are generated in real time and can be harvested at any point. Only those who are staked in the vault will be given the yields.
Community Question #3
Tonny Martin, [May 3, 2021 at 5:13:08 PM]: More DeFi projects promising insanely high APR/APY, but ended up pull liquidity or staking/farming or price of token dump. In your opinion. How does your project respond to this case ? Explain the reasons why we should invest in your project ?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:37:09 PM]: We believe we have solid tokenomics with the amount of tokens being minted kept at a minimum. We do not offer these insanely high and unsustainable APY yields as some other yield farms offer as we will be fully collateralized by real estate assets. Along with a low mint rate we will have a buyback mechanic to help keep a buy pressure on our token. Finally, the token is hardcapped at 10 million to limit runaway inflation.
Community Question #4
Last Rose, [May 3, 2021 at 5:14:24 PM]: There are some other initiatives like LABS Group in the market. Only difference between Landshare and others is fractionialization?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:37:47 PM]: We have a streamlined and easy to use platform that enables investors to earn yields on real estate without having the traditional high barrier of entry. Due to our easy to understand interface and platform we have an edge over our competitors along with being the only project on the Binance Smart Chain to incorporate real estate investments.
Community Question #5
Abim Khan, [May 3, 2021 at 5:15:23 PM]: How does Landshare compare to many yield offering a very high APY, and why would investors choose it over other yield opportunities?
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:39:32 PM]: Our yields are generated from real estate assets. We do not rely on a constant inflow of new investors to earn yields for existing users. We are utilizing a stablecoin based vault which limits the risk compared to other yield farms. In addition, investors can also earn yields on property appreciation and are paid out in both BUSD and LAND token.
Wrap-Up
Landshare – Travis, [May 3, 2021 at 5:43:35 PM]: Thank you to everybody for your questions. If your question wasn’t answered feel free to head over to our telegram at @Landshare and we will answer your questions there. Also be sure to check out our twitter at https://twitter.com/Landshareio If you are interested in participating in our presale please fill out the whitelist form on the bottom of our website at www.landshare.io Thank you to the BSC Times for hosting this AMA with us! We hope it was informative.
TheDevil100x – BSCTimes.com, [May 3, 2021 at 5:44:08 PM]: Great job Landshare team! I am very intrigued by your platform. The enhancements that BSC has made to DeFi, has greatly empowered investors and project developers to tackle problems that traditional finance hasn’t and might not be able to. Allowing investors to buy fractional real estate, and profit using your vaults without needing to actually go through the process of buying property, is pretty exciting.
Sergeant Pepper (BSC TIMES), [May 3, 2021 at 5:45:37 PM]: Thanks for sharing, and great work guys! I’m excited to get in on the action and see how things play out for Landshare! I will now unmute the community, if Landshare or the mods have nothing additional to add! I’ll give you a minute or two, just in case
Landshare, [May 3, 2021 at 5:48:45 PM]: I think we’ve covered everything. This was a very well run AMA and we appreciated working with you guys! Big thanks to the community for the great questions and excellent turn out.
