For those who were not here, Jetfuel was the first project to pay the 50 BNB deposit in order to appear for the GEMZ AMA back in December. We had just crossed our first million in TVL back then and now we’re at about $86 million for the entire ecosystem. We’re so happy to see the entire BSC ecosystem grow so much.
Now about Jetfuel. Decentralized Finance can be very hard to grasp at first, our goal is to simplify the complicated process of growing your assets.
Jetfuel Finance is a fair-launch deflationary yield farming ecosystem on Binance Smart Chain with the goal to provide DEFI users with a trusted one stop shop to experience all the great DEFI features. Jetfuel has high APY auto compounding vaults, an excellent Yield Farm to farm FUEL, generous staking rewards with the JETS token, an reflect and automatic liquidity generating token called GFORCE, a money market and lending protocol called Fortress, and a soon to be released AMM called Jetswap.
So basically, our road map is nearly complete! We’ve been working about 7 days a week for the last 5 months to get where we are today 😜

Thanks for the candid responses so far, this next question is going back the old days, and looking forward: When you started out on BSC it was a fast, cheap network. Now it’s still cheap, but on some days it slows to a crawl and has more congestion than Ethereum. Do you have any plans to go cross-chain to Fantom like Hyperjump did, or maybe Solana where there’s a lot of hype?

That being said, our entire vision at Jetfuel is to create a 1 stop shop for DEFI. From the beginning, we’ve always had our eyes set to go cross chain. Right now we’re evaluating ETH, Avalanche, Solana, Fantom, and HECO. We have plans to take the Fortress Protocol cross chain first in order to be one of the first lending protocols on these hot up and coming chains.

I totally agree with that sentiment, but its good to see you guys have other chains in your sights aswell, cross-chain may be the future, but BSC is still home base ❤️ You have a lot of tokens in your ecosystem, each with its own unique tokenomics. Can you tell us briefly about each token (including the upcoming “Wings” token? 🙂
Flight Commander Miro [Will Never DM First], [May 4, 2021 at 4:20:49 PM]: Sure! The Jetfuel Ecosystem is a robust, multi-token ecosystem that will incorporate all major DEFI products under 1 roof. Our tokens are;
FUEL: A deflationary token with a 2% tax on transaction. 1% is burned forever. Over 10,100 FUEL has been burned currently worth over $1.7 Million. 1% is sent to a special staking address for JETS holders. FUEL emissions are set to expire on June 5th. After that, the total supply will only decrease from there. FUEL was our first token. We released it on December 6th 2020.
JETS: The JETS token is the staking token of the Jetfuel Ecosystem which is created by staking FUEL for JETS. JETS is designed to provide multiple revenue streams for JETS holders. The income is derived from the Hangar Reserves (staking pool), Vault rewards, GFORCE unlimited staking pool, 10% of Net income from Fortress Lending and income from Jetswap, our soon to be released AMM.
GFCE (GForce): GFORCE is a reflect and automatic liquidity generating token built with five primary features.
- Frictionless Passive Yield with dynamic and adjustable reward rates
- Unlimited JETS Staking for GFORCE
- Automatic Liquidity Generation
- Double Yield Opportunities in LP Pairs with Liquidity Staking Rewards
- Whitelisting for CEX
FTS (Fortress): FTS is the governance and Rate modification token for the Fortress Protocol. You can earn FTS by supplying and borrowing assets from Fortress. You are also able to earn FTS by minting our stable coin FAI and staking it for more FTS. In the near future, FTS holders will be able to push proposals and vote on them to determine the future of the protocol. We also have a number of other great features we’ll be adding to Fortress which I can touch on later.
To be released: WINGS. WINGS is the governance and liquidity incentive token for our AMM Jetswap. WINGS holders will be able to vote on proposals, spending their WINGS on lotteries, stake their WINGS for more WINGS, use their WINGS to purchase NFTS, and a number of other exciting features we’ll roll out.

Flight Commander Miro [Will Never DM First], [May 4, 2021 at 4:28:38 PM]: This is actually something that I thought about before FUEL was ever released. The expiration of FUEL rewards led us to building the entire ecosystem with multiple products and innovations for the FUEL hodlers.
Our key objective is to fully support our entire ecosystem. That is one of the reasons we developed Jetswap is to give more liquidity incentives for our tokens and partner project tokens. We anticipate a lot more FUEL will be converted to JETS in order to earn more income once the FUEL emissions expire.
Our team will also continue to build as many Vaults as possible to compound users deposits. This will increase the TVL of Jetfuel and provide income to JETS holders from the vault harvest proceeds. We will work with partner projects so the FUEL-BNB lps are used widely across BSC.
TDLR, JETS will continue to earn high rewards and FUEL will remain very liquid with lots of possibilities.

Here’s a question regarding your latest addition: How does Fortress and the upcoming Jetswap benefit FUEL or JETS holders? I know on the whitepaper it says 10% of Fortress’s monthly net revenue will be used to market buy FUEL which gets sent to JETS holders, but is this already happening? How does Fortress generate revenue as fee-less as it is?
Flight Commander Miro [Will Never DM First], [May 4, 2021 at 4:34:39 PM]: JETS is the keystone to the Jetfuel ecosystem. All of the products and innovations our teams creates works to provide value to JETS holders.
Fortress, like any type of lending system, has borrowers paying interest to the asset suppliers. The Fortress treasury earns income through the reserve factor which is set at 10%, far lower than other lending protocols. What that means is that a small portion of the interest paid to suppliers from borrowers is directed to the Treasury. At the end of the month, 10% of net income from the reserve factor will be used to purchase FUEL and is sent to JETS holders.
To give you an idea of how it works. Suppliers will deposit their assets to Fortress and begin earning interest and FTS tokens per block. They can collateralize their deposits and borrow against them, up to 60%. So deposit $1000 and borrow a max of $600 against it.
Currently suppliers at Fortress are earning anywhere between 2%-36.65% to supply assets and borrowers are earning an incredible 46%-61% APY to BORROW money.
Suppliers will earn their deposited token as interest + FTS tokens. Borrowers will pay interest in their borrowed token and earn FTS.

Since we are on the topic of Fortress: What problems did Venus have that you solved/will solve and/or mitigate with Fortress?
Flight Commander Miro [Will Never DM First], [May 4, 2021 at 4:41:54 PM]: We are very excited to develop the Fortress Lending Protocol. We’ve watched the other lending protocols as they’ve developed.
We have a number of big features we’re looking to push live in the coming months, some that have never been developed before. We’re currently working to make FTS a rate modification token. What that means is a user can spend their FTS to increase their supply APY. For example, Jeff supplies BNB and is earning a base rate of 5% APY, he can spend the FTS to bump the 5% to 5.5%. On the flipside, he can spend FTS tokens to reduce his borrowing rate. If Jeff is borrowing BTCB at 7%, he can spend the FTS tokens to reduce the rate to 6.5%. The FTS used for the increase and buy downs will be burned and taken out of circulation forever.
Governance has been a very hot topic around some of these lending protocols. Our goal is to make governance more accessible to the average users and work with the community to push our final governance model in the next few weeks.
A few other features we’re working on is;
- Leverage as a Service: We want to tap the massive liquidity potential with Fortress by offering leverage as a service to yield farms and AMMs. Projects will be able to boost their farming APYs by borrowing from Fortress. This is similar to other projects like Alpaca.
- Fixed Rate Lending: Some suppliers and borrowers may not like the dynamic rates of the protocol. In order to serve them better, we’ll be offering fixed rate loans soon.
- Flash Loans
All the new products will involve small fees that are used to buy FTS and burn it or the fees will be paid in FTS. We will have more information on this as we develop the products.
We also just launched some vaults at Jetfuel for Fortress! You can get over 97% APY on ETH and BTCB over at Jetfuel.Finance!

One last one regarding fortress 🙂 About Fortress – your whitepaper has a paragraph about collateral value, which says the monetary value for tokens are pulled from price oracles. Are these your own oracles or are you using someone else’s solution? How do you keep the information you get from oracles up to date and free from malicious manipulation?
Flight Commander Miro [Will Never DM First], [May 4, 2021 at 4:49:49 PM]: That’s a great question. We’re currently utilizing Band Oracles to pull the price feeds of all of our tokens. We’re also in talks with Chainlink to help us develop a custom oracle for the FTS token when the market and trading activity is more mature.

Right now JETS holders are currently earning millions per year from:
- 6.5% of all FUEL emissions
- 30 FUEL per day sent from the 1% FUEL tax reserves
- 4% of every vault harvest is used to market buy FUEL and is sent to JETS holders
- Exclusive Staking pools for JETS holders like the unlimited GFCE pool

Geoff Bonez, [May 4, 2021 at 4:55:43 PM]: Here’s one regarding the biggest trend in the space right now… GFORCE is an RFI fork, and we have seen a few different RFI tokens come over to BSC chain (Vapor, Trinity) that have fizzled out. How is the GFCE token different and how does it benefit the whole Jetfuel ecosystem
Flight Commander Miro [Will Never DM First], [May 4, 2021 at 4:58:48 PM]: GFCE is a great reflect token with passive yield and liquidity generation from on chain activity. Our IJO for GFCE sold out in 5 seconds. It was amazing!
GFCE has a 2% tax built into the token. The passive yield is achieved with a 1% transactional tax and automatically distributes the fee to GFCE holders. Gforce is unique in the fee split. 1% of the fee is allocated for GFORCE holders, and 0.05% is allocated to the GForce staking pool for JETS users which we call the unlimited GFCE pool since it will always receive the most GFCE.
Gforce taxes 0.95% of each transaction for automatic liquidity generation and the GFCE is sent to the swap contract. The swap contract will be executed when more than 100 GFCE is in the swap contract. The transaction sent to fill the swap contract with more than 100 GFCE is the payer for the gas to swap the GFCE and add it to liquidity. The user who pays the gas fee is rewarded 2 GFCE to compensate for his gas costs.
Both the passive yield and the automatic liquidity tax percentages can be adjusted from 0% to 5% each. There is currently almost $500,000 in automatic liquidity that has been generated due to the tax. It’s great to see.
We have plans to update our GFCE token to a v2 soon due to the Pancake V2 migration.

WINGS holders will be able to vote on proposals, spending their WINGS on lotteries, Stake their WINGS for more WINGS, use their WINGS to purchase NFTS, and a number of other exciting features we’ll roll out.
We are rolling out a unique dual farm and vault reward system for the WINGS token. A portion of the daily WINGS rewards will be allocated to WINGS farms and single asset stakers, and a portion will be allocated to boost certain vaults.
We have big BURNS planned to keep inflation in check. We’ll be burning as much WINGS as we can get our hands on 🔥
